Answer a Few Questions
Our secure registration takes just five minutes through the Mend Family platform. You’ll provide basic contact information and a brief overview of your situation. This helps your interventionist prepare for your conversation.
Everything you share is completely confidential. Our platform is designed for privacy and security.
Follow Our Protocols
Before your session, we’ll send you guidance to help you prepare. This might include questions to think through, information to gather, or simply what to expect from the conversation.
We’ll guide you every step of the way.
Meet Your Interventionist
Connect via video or phone for your consultation. Most sessions are one hour, focused entirely on your situation. We want you to leave your first meeting with clarity about your options, specific strategies for your circumstances, and a plan for what comes next.
What Happens After Your First Session
Every consultation ends with clear action items. Whether that’s preparing for an intervention, implementing crisis strategies, or scheduling follow-up support, you’ll know exactly what to do next.
Depending on your situation, you might continue with:
- Additional consultation sessions as you navigate specific challenges
- Intervention planning and preparation leading to a family conversation
- Crisis de-escalation support for volatile situations
- Treatment placement guidance and coordination
- Recovery action planning for after treatment
- Sober coaching for your loved one
- Family recovery support for you and other family members
We adapt to what you need. Some families work with us intensively for weeks. Others check in occasionally as situations evolve. You’re in control of your level of engagement.
How Much Does it Cost?
We believe in transparent pricing because families in crisis shouldn’t have to navigate confusing cost structures. You know what you’re paying and what you’re getting.
Our professional consultations are $150 per session. There are no other hidden fees or pressure to commit to more than you need.
What’s included:
- One-on-one session with a trained interventionist
- Guidance tailored specifically to your situation
- Clear next steps and action items
- Access to our secure platform
- Follow-up resources as appropriate
Our Family Support Group Is Free
If money is tight, or if you’re not sure you’re ready for a one-on-one consultation, join our free Family & Friends Support Group held five nights a week. Our interventionists attend these groups to provide practical guidance on addiction and recovery, and you can ask your own questions. This is where many of our families start.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I talk to someone right away?
In most cases, yes. Booking an appointment takes about five minutes, and having a full team of interventionists means you can usually meet right away. Part of our job is to help you manage the crisis, and that can’t always wait for tomorrow.
Do I need my loved one’s participation?
No, you don’t—at least not at first. Most families start by meeting with an interventionist alone to discuss their situation and develop a plan. Your loved one doesn’t need to know about our conversation.
What if my loved one is in immediate danger?
If someone’s life is at risk, call 911 first. We can provide follow-up crisis support, but emergency situations need emergency response.
Is this therapy?
No. Our interventionists provide guidance and support for navigating addiction situations, but we don’t provide licensed therapy services. Many families work with us alongside their therapists or other mental health providers.
Can interventionists come to us in person?
Intervention On Call is a virtual platform, and our consultations are virtual-first. However, if the situation calls for it, you can work directly with one of our providers to travel to your location and facilitate an in-person intervention. Discuss this option with your interventionist.
What if this doesn’t work?
Every family’s situation is different, and outcomes depend on many factors. What we can promise is that you’ll receive expert guidance from people who have helped thousands of families. Even if your loved one doesn’t embrace recovery, you’ll have better tools for managing your situation and protecting yourself.
You’re Suffering and It’s Not Your Fault
Over 48 million Americans struggle with addiction. That means millions of families are dealing with the exact same pain you’re experiencing right now.
We’re here to help you find a way through the constant fear, sleepless nights, and cycle of crisis.
