Sharon Faulkner

I have worked in the substance abuse treatment field for several years; I am a Registered Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.  For 25 years of my life, I thought that alcohol and drugs was my only way to live.  My addiction determined if and when I was employed, the friends I kept, and where I would live. I found myself hopeless and down on my luck. I found myself chasing a life that I would dream of on many days.  Change is hard, forgiveness is even harder. Once I learned how to do these things my life changed for the better. I never looked back!

I have dedicated my work to helping those in their process no matter how they show up. My lived experience leads my passion to help others in their recovery. I come with a great deal of understanding and knowledge of gaining that life that you too dream about. Recovery Is a process, my understanding of the process in recovery is empathetic, hopeful, and supportive.
